Tom loves problem-solving. Health insurance has plenty of problems. It’s a perfect match! Given the challenges facing companies and employees, his passion for deploying high-performance solutions to drive sustainable employer-sponsored benefit programs comes naturally.
Honed over a decade as a service executive at a large, national employee benefits consulting firm and as a sales leader at a regional TPA, Tom has diverse perspectives on what works and what appears to work. He has served clients across the spectrum of sizes, industries, geography, funding methodology, and disposition.
During his career, he has at various points been recognized as a subject matter expert and team lead for ACA compliance, training and development, unbundled program design, health and welfare captives, complex sales, and, most recently, care coordination and employee navigation solutions. His commentary has been featured on several national podcasts.
Because he enjoys seeing ideas come to life, he still finds conducting employee open enrollment meetings to be the most fulfilling opportunity afforded to a benefits professional.
