Considerations for Employers Post-Dobbs

Please join us for a webinar to discuss the impact of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization on employers and group health plans. The decision overrules the Supreme Court’s 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade, which had guaranteed federal constitutional protections relating to abortion law. The Court held that the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion, and the authority to regulate abortion turns to the states and their legislatures. Thirteen states have passed so-called “trigger laws” that effectively outlaw abortion within their states following the Court’s ruling. Approximately a dozen or so more states are anticipated to follow suit.
